Air Conditioning for Studebaker Cars: Procedures, Parts and Materials need for installing AC on the Typical Studebaker.
Studebaker Air Conditioning Part 2: After installing several different AC setups to various Studebakers, I believe this to be the "best" way to add AC to your V-8 equipped Studebaker. Many of the ideas apply to 6-cylinder Studebakers also. Included in this feature, is adding a Delco "one-wire" alternator to your AC setup.

Dana Models 27 and 44 Rear Axle assembly: Assembling a Dana Model 27 or 44 Tapered Axle- and setting the endplay. This technical page was written in response to a fellow NG member from the Alt.Autos.Studebaker Newsgroup. If you have never visited the Newsgroup, it is a great resource for information about the care and feeding of your pet Studebaker.
SUSPENSION and STEERING:
Studebaker Steering Bellcrank: Center Pin Rebuilding ***note: this is for pre-'63 type center pins, using needle bearings and not bushings.
1955 Studebaker Ross Steering Box Rebuild: I have rebuilt several Ross steering boxes over the last several years of working on Studes. They are not too difficult for one with average mechanical ability. There are a few special tools that are a big help- but not absolutely necessary. The Ross box was used for many years- and it's design changed very little from 1952-1962. This page will give you a good idea of what you would run into during this job.

Scans, Diagrams and Other Information Files:
1961 Technical Information Index: Contains pages that cover information about 1961 Studebakers.
1955-1958 Studebaker Chassis Manual: Scans of Major assemblies such as Steering, Brakes and Clutch linkage. These scans will help in the assembly and disassembly of many Studebaker components. These assemblies remained unchanged for many years- so they can be helpful for model years 1952- 1966 also.
